The part nobody else explains
Why we ask for your EIN
Since 2021, US carriers require every business that sends automated text messages to register. It is called A2P 10DLC. If you skip it, your messages get filtered or blocked outright and you never find out why — you just quietly stop reaching people.
Registration has to be in your business name, under your EIN, because you are the one whose customers are getting the texts. We handle the paperwork and the carrier back-and-forth. We just need the legal entity name exactly as it appears on your IRS documents — not the DBA you put on the truck.
We also keep a timestamped record of how every one of your leads opted in. If a customer ever disputes receiving a message, that record is what protects you.
Timeline note: carrier approval typically takes a few business days and is the one part of onboarding we do not control. Your website goes live regardless — the texting features switch on the moment approval lands.
