Texts, calls & email
Billed at our cost. No markup.
We don't make a cent on your texting. You pay exactly what our telecom provider charges us, itemized on your invoice, for exactly what you use. Metering from the first message is also what keeps this from being used as a bulk texting platform — it protects the sending reputation that gets your messages delivered at all.

What that actually comes to
A two-person crew running around 80 jobs a month uses roughly $20 of texts, calls, and email — so about $317 all in. A slow winter month costs less. A flat-out summer month costs more. You only ever pay for what actually went out the door.
How it's billed: usage is metered continuously and charged on your next monthly invoice alongside the $297 base, itemized so you can see exactly what drove it. You can check live usage in your dashboard at any time. Because these are pass-through rates, they move if our provider's rates move — we give 30 days' notice before that happens.
Why meter it at all if you make nothing on it?
Two reasons. Bundling texts into the base price means padding that price to cover the heaviest user, so the quiet operator subsidizes the loud one. And an unmetered account is an open invitation to blast a purchased list, which gets numbers flagged by carriers and wrecks delivery for everyone on the platform. Passing telecom through at cost keeps the platform price honest and keeps your messages landing in inboxes.
Fair use: plans are built for the normal customer communication of a local service business — up to 10,000 text segments and 5,000 call minutes a month, and up to 5 phone numbers. If you need more than that, we'll talk and put you on a rate that fits rather than quietly running up your invoice. This isn't a bulk texting platform.
Questions people actually ask
Is there a contract?+
No. It's month to month and you can cancel anytime from your billing portal. If you cancel, you keep your domain — we'll help you move the site.
Is there a setup fee?+
No setup fee. Your first month covers the build. Most sites are live within about a week of you getting us your photos and service list.
How does the usage billing work?+
Texts, calls, picture messages, and emails are billed at exactly what our telecom provider charges us — we don't mark them up. It's itemized on your invoice and visible in your dashboard, so you can always see what drove the number. For a typical two-person crew it runs around $20 a month on top of the $297.
Why not just bundle the texting into one flat price?+
Two reasons. First, bundling means everyone pays for the heaviest user — you'd have to pad the base price to cover the busiest month anyone might have, so a slow winter costs you the same as a peak summer. Second, an unlimited bucket invites the exact behavior that gets a sending number shut down. When texts feel free, someone eventually blasts a purchased list, and the carriers don't punish that account alone — deliverability drops for everyone on the platform. Metering at cost keeps volume honest, keeps your number in good standing, and means we don't make a cent on the traffic either way.
Do I need my own phone number?+
You keep your existing business number. We provision a dedicated messaging number for the automated texts so your personal line never gets flagged by carriers. Customers still see your business identity.
Do I have to forward my phone to a robot?+
No. Nobody answers your phone but you. The system only steps in on calls you miss and on web form submissions — it's overflow, not replacement.
What do you need from me to get started?+
Your service list, service area, a handful of job photos, and your Google Business Profile access. That's genuinely it. Onboarding is by text and email — no scheduled calls unless you want one.
Who owns the website?+
You do. It's your domain and your content. We build and host it as part of the subscription.
